Terms and Conditions of Accommodation Contracts
Terms and Conditions of Accommodation Contracts
Scope of Application
(Article 1)1. Contraction and related agreements to be accommodated shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. And any particulars not provided for here in shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally accepted practices.
2. The Hotel may, notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, enter into a special contract, insofar as such special contract does not violate laws and regulations or generally accepted practices.
Application for an Accommodation Contract
(Article 2) 1. The Guest who intends to apply to our Hotel for an Accommodation Contract will be required to provide our Hotel with the following particulars:
(1) Name(s) of Guest(s), number of Guests and address of Guests
(2) Date(s) scheduled for overnight stay and estimated time of arrival.
(3) Other information considered necessary by our Hotel.
2. In the case that the Guest has requested, during his/her stay, an extension of an overnight stay beyond the date described in the preceding Paragraph 2 above, our Hotel shall handle his/her request as a new application for an Accommodation Contract which has been made at the point in time when the said request has been made.
Conclusion, etc. of the Accommodation Contract
(Article 3) 1. The Accommodation Contract shall be considered to have been concluded at the time when our Hotel has accepted the application described in the preceding Article, unless our Hotel has certified that our Hotel has not accepted the said application.
2. When the Accommodation Contract has been concluded under the provision of the preceding Paragraph, the Application Money payable for the period scheduled for overnight stay as prescribed by our Hotel shall be paid by the date set by us, up to the maximum amount equal to the basic accommodation charge for 3 days in cases where the period scheduled for overnight stay exceeds 3 days.
3. The Application Money shall first be applied to the final payment of the Accommodation Charge payable, and when the circumstances requiring application of the provisions of Article 6 and Article 18 have arisen, to penalty and then to compensation money in this order. If there is any balance left it will be repaid at the time when the Accommodation Charge is paid as provided in Article 12.
4. In the case that the Application Money described in Paragraph 2 of this Article has not been paid by the date set by us as stipulated in the same Paragraph, the Accommodation Contract shall become invalid, but limited only to the case where our Hotel has notified the Guest to that effect at the time when prescribing the day due for payment of the Application Money
Special Contract Requiring Non-Payment of the Application Money
(Article 4) 1. Notwithstanding the provision of the preceding Article, Paragraph 2, there are cases where our Hotel accepts a Special Contract which does not require payment of the Application Money specified in the said Paragraph after the conclusion of the Contract.
2. When accepting an application for an Accommodation Contract, in the case that our Hotel fails to request payment of the Application Money specified in the preceding Article, Paragraph 2, and/or in the case that it fails to prescribe the due date for payment of the said Application Money, the Special Contract described in the preceding Paragraph shall be considered to have been accepted.
Refusal of the Conclusion of the Accommodation Contract
(Article 5) The following are cases where our Hotel will not accept the conclusion of the Accommodation Contract:
(1) When application for accommodation is not based on this Contract.
(2) When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
(3) When the Guest seeking accommodation is considered likely to behave in violation of the provisions of the ordinance, public order or good public morals.
(4) When a Guest seeking accommodation is clearly detected to be affected with an infectious disease;
(5) When a Guest seeking accommodation makes a coercive or unreasonable request to the Hotel or the Hotel’s employees;
(6) When a Guest seeking accommodation is associated with an organized crime syndicate or gangster-related organization or with members of such syndicates or organizations;
(7) When a Guest seeking accommodation is employed by a corporation that is run by an organized crime syndicate or members of such or similar organizations;
(8) When a Guest seeking accommodation is employed by a corporation that has a board member who is a member of an organized crime syndicate;
(9) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural calamities, malfunction of the facilities and/or other unavoidable cases.
(10) When a Guest seeking accommodation is not in a situation that it is possible to contact after accommodation application.
(11) When a Guest/person seeking accommodation makes a third party stays without permission, or when a third party uses the accommodation.
(12) When a Guest seeking accommodation brings dangerous materials or heavy goods to the room.
(13) When a Guest seeking accommodation is obviously intoxicated and could cause annoyance to other Guests or when the person is behaving in such a manner as to be an annoyance to other Guests.
(14) When the Guest who committed a crime indicts, is accused or it arrested.
(15) When the Guest bring pets onto the premises of the Hotel (except guide dogs).
(16) When the case corresponds to the defined prefectures.
The Guest's Right to Cancel the Contract
(Article 6)1. The Guest may request our Hotel to cancel the Accommodation Contract.
2. In the case that the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to causes attributable to him/her (which is the case when our Hotel has requested payment of the Application Money by prescribing the date due for such payment under the provision of Article 3, Paragraph 2, except in the case when the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract prior to such payment), payment of penalty shall be required as specified in the attached Schedule II, but in the case that our Hotel has accepted a Special Contract described in Article 4, Paragraph 1 this provision shall be applied only to the case where our Hotel has notified the Guest of his/her responsibility to pay a penalty for cancellation of the Contract when accepting the Special Contract.
3. In the case that the Guest does not arrive by 12:00 p.m. on the day of an overnight stay without informing our Hotel of a delay (or after the lapse of 2 hours past the scheduled time of arrival if indicated by the Guest beforehand), the Accommodation Contract concerned may be considered to have been cancelled by the Guest and will be handled accordingly.
4. In cases where the Accommodation Contract has been regarded as being cancelled as stipulated in the preceding paragraph, but if the Guest is able to prove that his/her failure to appear without any advance notice is due to the delay or no arrival of the public transportation including the train and the aircraft or reasons not attributable to the Guest, the Hotel shall not charge the Guest with the cancellation charge stipulated in Paragraph 1 of Article 6.
The Right of Our Hotel to Cancel the Contract
(Article 7)1. The Hotel shall have the right to cancel the Accommodation Contract, unless otherwise specified, under any of the following circumstances;
(1)When the Guest comes under any provisions of Item 3 to Item 16 of Article 5;
(2)When the Guest is requested to notify particulars as stipulated in Item 1 of Particle 8, but fails to do so by the date specified.
(3)When the Guest is requested to pay an accommodation deposit as stipulated in Item 1of Article 4, but fails to do so by the date specified.
(4) When the Guest does not observe the rules prohibiting certain actions specified under the House Regulations stipulated by the Hotel (restricted to prohibitions dammed necessary in order to prevent fires) such as smoking in bed, and mischief to the fire-fighting facilities;
(5) When you are smoking outside the smoking section designated by the hotel (Because the whole building is no smoking).
2. The Hotel shall refund any deposit received for the Accommodation Contract in cases where the Hotel has cancelled the Contract in accordance with the preceding paragraphs.
Registration of Accommodation
(Article 8)1. The Guest will be required to register the following particulars at the front desk of our Hotel
(1) Name, age, sex, address, phone number and occupation of the Guest.
(2) Nationality, passport number, place entered and date entered, in the case of a foreign guest.
(3) Scheduled date and time of departure.
(4) Accommodation Charges (based in principle, on the Basic Accommodate Charges listed in the attached Table No.1)
(5) Other particulars considered necessary by our Hotel
2. All Guests of foreign nationality who do not reside within Japan will be asked to leave a photocopy of their passport with the Front Desk.
3. In the case of where the Guest intends to pay his/her accommodation charges prescribed in Article 12 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as traveler’s coupons or credit cards, these credentials shall be shown in advance at the time of the registration prescribed in the preceding Paragraph.
Time Allowed for Use of the Guest room
(Article 9)1. The time allowed for the Guest to use the guest room of our Hotel shall be from 3:00 p.m. till 11:00 a.m. of the following morning, except when the Guest stays for more than one night in succession, in which case the Guest may use the guest room all day except the day of arrival and the day of departure.
2. Notwithstanding the provision of the preceding Paragraph, there are cases where our Hotel may accept the use of the guest room in hours other than those specified in the preceding Paragraph, in which case an additional charge will be required as specified below.

Compliance of the Rules of Use of the Hotel
(Article 10)While staying in our Hotel, the Guest will be required to comply with the Rules of Use posted inside our Hotel as prescribed by us.
Business Hours
(Article 11)1. The business hours of principal facilities in our Hotel shall be as follows. Details of the service hours of other facilities are explained in the pamphlet provided, displays at major points inside our Hotel, and the service directory provided in each guest room.
(1) Service Hours of Front Desk, Cashier, etc.:
(a) Curfew: No
(b) Front Desk: 24 hours
(2) Drinking and Eating (Breakfast) Service Hours: 7:00 am ~ 9:00 am
(3) Service Hours of Ancillary Facilities:
Vending Machine corner: 24 hours
Coin Laundry Machine corner: 6:00 am ~ 11:00 pm
2. The service hours described in the preceding Paragraph may be changed temporarily for unavoidable reasons, in which case the Guest will be notified by proper means
Payment of Charges
(Article 12)1. The breakdown of the accommodation charge, etc. payable by the Guest shall be as listed in the attached Schedule. Payment of the accommodation charges, etc. described in the preceding Paragraph shall be made in currency or by other alternative means acceptable by our Hotel, such as traveler's check, accommodation coupon, credit card, etc., at the front desk at the time when the Guest departs from our Hotel or is charged by our Hotel
2. In the case that the Guest has not stayed at our Hotel at his/her discretion even after we have offered the guest room to the Guest and made it available for him/her to use, the accommodation charge will still be charged.
Responsibility of Our Hotel
(Article 13)1. In the case that we have inflicted damage on the Guest in the course of fulfilling the Accommodation Contract and related Contracts or in breach of these Contracts, we shall compensate for the said damage, unless the said damage has been caused due to a cause not attributable to us.
2. Our Hotel is covered by the Hotel liability insurance to cope with emergencies in the case of fire, etc.
Handling In Case the Guest Room Contracted Is Not Available
(Article 14)1. Should the guest room contracted for the Guest under the Accommodation Contract become unavailable for him/her, our Hotel shall try to offer other accommodation facilities under the same conditions as the original Accommodation Contract as far as possible, subject to the consent of the Guest concerned.
2. When it cannot introduce other accommodation, this Hotel pays the same amount of money as the reserved Hotel charge. However, it is not possible to pay when there is no responsibility of the Hotel like the disaster, etc.
Handling of Checked Articles
(Article 15)1. When the articles, cash and/or valuables checked by the Guest at the front desk have been lost or damaged, our Hotel shall compensate for the damage, unless the loss or damage has been caused by force de majeure. However, in the case of cash and valuables, we shall do so only when the Guest has clearly reported the kind and value of such cash and valuables at our request. Otherwise we shall compensate for the damage up to the maximum amount of 100,000 yen.
2. When the Guest has brought into our Hotel articles, cash and/or valuable but has not checked them at the front desk, we shall compensate for the loss or damage inflicted on them if caused intentionally or negligently on our part, except when the Guest has not clearly reported to us beforehand the kind and value of such items lost or damaged, in which case we shall compensate for the loss or damage up to the maximum amount of 100,000 yen unless we are intentionally or negligently responsible for such loss or damage.
Custody of the Baggage or Personal Belongings of the Guest
(Article 16)1. When the baggage of the Guest has arrived at our Hotel prior to his/her arrival, our Hotel will keep it subject to our agreement given prior to its arrival, and will hand it to the Guest at the time when he/she checks in at the front desk.
2. When baggage or belongings of the Guest are found in the Hotel after the Guest has checked out, the Hotel shall keep the items for three (3) months from the day they are found. Valuables shall be immediately reported to a local police station. Foods, drinks, and magazines shall be disposed of at the discretion of the Hotel if the Guest does not contact the Hotel within one day after checking out.
3. The Hotel reserves the right to inspect the contents of the baggage or belongings left at the Hotel after the Guest has checked out in order to properly handle the items and either return them to the owner or treat them pursuant to the previous Item. The Guest has no right to complain about the handling of the contents.
4. Regarding damage to the Guest’s baggage or belongings that occurs while the Hotel is in custody of the items, the Hotel shall compensate the Guest as stipulated in Items 2 and 3 above up to a maximum of 10,000 yen except in cases where the damage was caused through intention or gross negligence on the part of the Hotel.
Responsibility of the Guest
(Article 17) In the case that our Hotel (Ryokan) has suffered damage due to the intention or fault of the Guest, the Guest will be required to compensate to our Hotel for the said damage.
(1) When smoking in the guest room is known, we will charge guest the room selling fee. We will charge 50,000 yen for deodorizing costs.
(2) We will charge repair and repair expenses when in-room furniture and equipment become unusable intentionally or by negligence.
Cleaning of the rooms
(Article 18)1. When guests stay in the same room continuously for 2 nights or more, we will clean the rooms every day as a rule.
2. Even if we receive an offer to the effect that cleaning is unnecessary from customers, we will clean the guest room at least once every 3 days in view of the purpose of laws and prefectural ordinances etc. However, we can clean rooms at any time if our hotel deems it is necessary.
3. With regard to the cleaning of the rooms mentioned in the preceding paragraph, you shall not refuse this.
Prevailing Language
(Article 19) These Terms and Conditions shall be executed in Japanese, Chinese and English. In the event of an inconsistency or difference among the versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Japanese version shall prevail in all respects.
Disclaimer
(Article 20)Guests shall be liable for any use computer communication (Wi-Fi) services within the Hotel. The Hotel shall not be liable for any possible damages that may be caused by a systems failure or any other reasons while the computer communication (Wi-Fi) services are being used. In addition, the Guest may be required to compensate the Hotel and third parties for any possible damages caused by the acts that we judge to be an inappropriate use of the computer communication (Wi-Fi) systems.
Use of Personal Information
(Article 21)1. How we use personal information: We use personal information that you provide when you made a reservation or other transactions. We also use personal information we collect for improving customer service, developing products.
2. Restriction on sharing information: We do not share personal information except when Asiato Hotels entrust other companies or there are legislations requiring personal information.
3. Tight and appropriate security: We endeavor to protect personal data using every security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, modification and disclosure of personal information.
Revision of Terms and Conditions
(Article 22) These Terms and Conditions may be revised from time to time as necessary.
When this agreement is revised, the hotel shall post the contents of the revised clause and the effective date on the hotel's website or in the guest room.

Calculation Method for Accommodation
Charges for Hotel (Ref. Paragraph 1 of Article 2, Paragraph2 of Article 3 and Paragraph 1 of Article 12)
Remark: These charges are subject to change in case of amendment of the tax laws concerned.
Attached Table No.2: Cancellation Charges for Hotel (Ref. Paragraph 2 of Article 6)
Remarks:
1. The percentage figures signify the rates of cancellation charge to the accommodation charges.
2. When the number of days contracted is shortened, the cancellation charges for its final day shall be paid by the Guest regardless of the number of days shortened.
3. When part of a group booking (available for 15 persons for more) is canceled, the cancellation charges shall not be charged for the number of persons equivalent to 10% of the number of persons booked as of ten days prior to the occupancy (when accepted less than 10 days prior to the occupancy, as of the acceptance date), with fractions counted as a whole number.
*However, please know that this cancellation policy also apply to the cancellation policy of reservation site you reserved.

In the case that the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to causes attributable to him/her (which is the case when our Hotel has requested payment of the Application Money by prescribing the date due for such payment under the provision of Article 3, Paragraph 2, except in the case when the Guest has cancelled the Accommodation Contract prior to such payment), payment of penalty shall be required as specified in the attached Schedule II, but in the case that our Hotel has accepted a Special Contract described in Article 4, Paragraph 1 this provision shall be applied only to the case where our Hotel has notified the Guest of his/her responsibility to pay a penalty for cancellation of the Contract when accepting the Special Contract.
3. In the case that the Guest does not arrive by 12:00 p.m. on the day of an overnight stay without informing our Hotel of a delay (or after the lapse of 2 hours past the scheduled time of arrival if indicated by the Guest beforehand), the Accommodation Contract concerned may be considered to have been cancelled by the Guest and will be handled accordingly.
4. In cases where the Accommodation Contract has been regarded as being cancelled as stipulated in the preceding paragraph, but if the Guest is able to prove that his/her failure to appear without any advance notice is due to the delay or no arrival of the public transportation including the train and the aircraft or reasons not attributable to the Guest, the Hotel shall not charge the Guest with the cancellation charge stipulated in Paragraph 1 of Article 6.
The Right of Our Hotel to Cancel the Contract
(Article 7)1. The Hotel shall have the right to cancel the Accommodation Contract, unless otherwise specified, under any of the following circumstances;
(1)When the Guest comes under any provisions of Item 3 to Item 16 of Article 5;
(2)When the Guest is requested to notify particulars as stipulated in Item 1 of Particle 8, but fails to do so by the date specified.
(3)When the Guest is requested to pay an accommodation deposit as stipulated in Item 1of Article 4, but fails to do so by the date specified.
(4) When the Guest does not observe the rules prohibiting certain actions specified under the House Regulations stipulated by the Hotel (restricted to prohibitions dammed necessary in order to prevent fires) such as smoking in bed, and mischief to the fire-fighting facilities;
(5) When you are smoking outside the smoking section designated by the hotel (Because the whole building is no smoking).
2. The Hotel shall refund any deposit received for the Accommodation Contract in cases where the Hotel has cancelled the Contract in accordance with the preceding paragraphs.
Registration of Accommodation
(Article 8)1. The Guest will be required to register the following particulars at the front desk of our Hotel
(1) Name, age, sex, address, phone number and occupation of the Guest.
(2) Nationality, passport number, place entered and date entered, in the case of a foreign guest.
(3) Scheduled date and time of departure.
(4) Accommodation Charges (based in principle, on the Basic Accommodate Charges listed in the attached Table No.1)
(5) Other particulars considered necessary by our Hotel
2. All Guests of foreign nationality who do not reside within Japan will be asked to leave a photocopy of their passport with the Front Desk.
3. In the case of where the Guest intends to pay his/her accommodation charges prescribed in Article 12 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as traveler’s coupons or credit cards, these credentials shall be shown in advance at the time of the registration prescribed in the preceding Paragraph.
Time Allowed for Use of the Guest room
(Article 9)1. The time allowed for the Guest to use the guest room of our Hotel shall be from 3:00 p.m. till 11:00 a.m. of the following morning, except when the Guest stays for more than one night in succession, in which case the Guest may use the guest room all day except the day of arrival and the day of departure.
2. Notwithstanding the provision of the preceding Paragraph, there are cases where our Hotel may accept the use of the guest room in hours other than those specified in the preceding Paragraph, in which case an additional charge will be required as specified below.
Early Check in Charge

(3) 01:00 pm ~ 03:00 pm : 30% of Room charge

Compliance of the Rules of Use of the Hotel
(Article 10)While staying in our Hotel, the Guest will be required to comply with the Rules of Use posted inside our Hotel as prescribed by us.
Business Hours
(Article 11)1. The business hours of principal facilities in our Hotel shall be as follows. Details of the service hours of other facilities are explained in the pamphlet provided, displays at major points inside our Hotel, and the service directory provided in each guest room.
(1) Service Hours of Front Desk, Cashier, etc.:
(a) Curfew: No
(b) Front Desk: 24 hours
(2) Drinking and Eating (Breakfast) Service Hours: 7:00 am ~ 9:00 am
(3) Service Hours of Ancillary Facilities:
Vending Machine corner: 24 hours
Coin Laundry Machine corner: 6:00 am ~ 11:00 pm
2. The service hours described in the preceding Paragraph may be changed temporarily for unavoidable reasons, in which case the Guest will be notified by proper means
Payment of Charges
(Article 12)1. The breakdown of the accommodation charge, etc. payable by the Guest shall be as listed in the attached Schedule. Payment of the accommodation charges, etc. described in the preceding Paragraph shall be made in currency or by other alternative means acceptable by our Hotel, such as traveler's check, accommodation coupon, credit card, etc., at the front desk at the time when the Guest departs from our Hotel or is charged by our Hotel
2. In the case that the Guest has not stayed at our Hotel at his/her discretion even after we have offered the guest room to the Guest and made it available for him/her to use, the accommodation charge will still be charged.
Responsibility of Our Hotel
(Article 13)1. In the case that we have inflicted damage on the Guest in the course of fulfilling the Accommodation Contract and related Contracts or in breach of these Contracts, we shall compensate for the said damage, unless the said damage has been caused due to a cause not attributable to us.
2. Our Hotel is covered by the Hotel liability insurance to cope with emergencies in the case of fire, etc.
Handling In Case the Guest Room Contracted Is Not Available
(Article 14)1. Should the guest room contracted for the Guest under the Accommodation Contract become unavailable for him/her, our Hotel shall try to offer other accommodation facilities under the same conditions as the original Accommodation Contract as far as possible, subject to the consent of the Guest concerned.
2. When it cannot introduce other accommodation, this Hotel pays the same amount of money as the reserved Hotel charge. However, it is not possible to pay when there is no responsibility of the Hotel like the disaster, etc.
Handling of Checked Articles
(Article 15)1. When the articles, cash and/or valuables checked by the Guest at the front desk have been lost or damaged, our Hotel shall compensate for the damage, unless the loss or damage has been caused by force de majeure. However, in the case of cash and valuables, we shall do so only when the Guest has clearly reported the kind and value of such cash and valuables at our request. Otherwise we shall compensate for the damage up to the maximum amount of 100,000 yen.
2. When the Guest has brought into our Hotel articles, cash and/or valuable but has not checked them at the front desk, we shall compensate for the loss or damage inflicted on them if caused intentionally or negligently on our part, except when the Guest has not clearly reported to us beforehand the kind and value of such items lost or damaged, in which case we shall compensate for the loss or damage up to the maximum amount of 100,000 yen unless we are intentionally or negligently responsible for such loss or damage.
Custody of the Baggage or Personal Belongings of the Guest
(Article 16)1. When the baggage of the Guest has arrived at our Hotel prior to his/her arrival, our Hotel will keep it subject to our agreement given prior to its arrival, and will hand it to the Guest at the time when he/she checks in at the front desk.
2. When baggage or belongings of the Guest are found in the Hotel after the Guest has checked out, the Hotel shall keep the items for three (3) months from the day they are found. Valuables shall be immediately reported to a local police station. Foods, drinks, and magazines shall be disposed of at the discretion of the Hotel if the Guest does not contact the Hotel within one day after checking out.
3. The Hotel reserves the right to inspect the contents of the baggage or belongings left at the Hotel after the Guest has checked out in order to properly handle the items and either return them to the owner or treat them pursuant to the previous Item. The Guest has no right to complain about the handling of the contents.
4. Regarding damage to the Guest’s baggage or belongings that occurs while the Hotel is in custody of the items, the Hotel shall compensate the Guest as stipulated in Items 2 and 3 above up to a maximum of 10,000 yen except in cases where the damage was caused through intention or gross negligence on the part of the Hotel.
Responsibility of the Guest
(Article 17) In the case that our Hotel (Ryokan) has suffered damage due to the intention or fault of the Guest, the Guest will be required to compensate to our Hotel for the said damage.
(1) When smoking in the guest room is known, we will charge guest the room selling fee. We will charge 50,000 yen for deodorizing costs.
(2) We will charge repair and repair expenses when in-room furniture and equipment become unusable intentionally or by negligence.
Cleaning of the rooms
(Article 18)1. When guests stay in the same room continuously for 2 nights or more, we will clean the rooms every day as a rule.
2. Even if we receive an offer to the effect that cleaning is unnecessary from customers, we will clean the guest room at least once every 3 days in view of the purpose of laws and prefectural ordinances etc. However, we can clean rooms at any time if our hotel deems it is necessary.
3. With regard to the cleaning of the rooms mentioned in the preceding paragraph, you shall not refuse this.
Prevailing Language
(Article 19) These Terms and Conditions shall be executed in Japanese, Chinese and English. In the event of an inconsistency or difference among the versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Japanese version shall prevail in all respects.
Disclaimer
(Article 20)Guests shall be liable for any use computer communication (Wi-Fi) services within the Hotel. The Hotel shall not be liable for any possible damages that may be caused by a systems failure or any other reasons while the computer communication (Wi-Fi) services are being used. In addition, the Guest may be required to compensate the Hotel and third parties for any possible damages caused by the acts that we judge to be an inappropriate use of the computer communication (Wi-Fi) systems.
Use of Personal Information
(Article 21)1. How we use personal information: We use personal information that you provide when you made a reservation or other transactions. We also use personal information we collect for improving customer service, developing products.
2. Restriction on sharing information: We do not share personal information except when Asiato Hotels entrust other companies or there are legislations requiring personal information.
3. Tight and appropriate security: We endeavor to protect personal data using every security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, modification and disclosure of personal information.
Revision of Terms and Conditions
(Article 22) These Terms and Conditions may be revised from time to time as necessary.
When this agreement is revised, the hotel shall post the contents of the revised clause and the effective date on the hotel's website or in the guest room.

Remarks:
1. The percentage figures signify the rates of cancellation charge to the accommodation charges.
2. When the number of days contracted is shortened, the cancellation charges for its final day shall be paid by the Guest regardless of the number of days shortened.
3. When part of a group booking (available for 15 persons for more) is canceled, the cancellation charges shall not be charged for the number of persons equivalent to 10% of the number of persons booked as of ten days prior to the occupancy (when accepted less than 10 days prior to the occupancy, as of the acceptance date), with fractions counted as a whole number.
*However, please know that this cancellation policy also apply to the cancellation policy of reservation site you reserved.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Terms of use
In order to assure the maximum comfort and safety of all guests, we ask for your cooperation in observing the following rules and regulations (hereinafter referred to as” House Regulations”) in accordance with the “General Conditions for Accommodations, Article 10”. If a guest does not observe House Regulations, the Hotel may choose not to permit further use by the guest of Facilities in the Hotel. Also, kindly note that Guests may be held liable for damage in the event of an accident arising from neglect of these regulations House Regulations.
2. Scope of Application
House Regulations shall be applied to all the visitors who use all the facilities of our Hotel (covering all facilities such as accommodations, banquet facilities, restaurants, lobbies and Hotels sites, hereinafter referred to as “Facilities”). By the way, the accommodation clauses provided by our Hotel (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts”) in addition to the above-mentioned rules shall be applied to the guests staying at our Hotel (hereinafter referred to as “Guest”).
3. For your safety and security
(1) Please see the inside of your guest room door for map of emergency escape routes from your room.
(2) When leaving your room, please make sure the door is locked. (Automatically lockable door)
(3) Please be sure to use the door latch while in your room, especially before you go to sleep. Please answer a knock at the door with the door latch attached. When in doubt contact the reception desk.
(4) Please note that guests who are not registered are not allowed to stay at the Hotel. Also please do not receive visitors in your room.
(5) The Hotel is entirely non-smoking, so please stop smoking outside designated smoking areas.
(6) Please do not bring any heating, cooking equipment in your room.
(7) Others that are forbidden to possess by law
4. (1) Please do not bring onto the facilities any of the following.
①Dogs, cats, birds, or other animals or pets( such as guide dogs or assistance dogs are not included).
②Articles with offensive odors.
③Explosive and flammable items, such as gunpowder, gasoline, etc.
④Unregistered firearms and swords, illegal drugs and other articles, possession of which is prohibited by the laws of Japan.
⑤Luggage or goods of unusually large size or in unusually large quantities.
⑥Any other items which possession of is prohibited by law.
(2)Creating a disturbance which annoys other guests and gambling are not permitted in the Hotel.
(3)The lobby or the guestrooms are not to be used as showrooms or as business offices.
(4)Distributing advertising materials to other guests in the Hotel is not permitted.
(5)Use of Hotel rooms for purpose other than lodging is not permitted.
(6)Please note that unauthorized publications for business purposes of photographs taken on the Facilities may be subject to legal action.
(7)Except in emergency situations, please refrain from using the emergency staircases, going up to the roof, entering areas where there is machinery.
(8)Please refrain from leaving our hotel secret facilities in Pajama, underwear, slippers or the like.
(9)Rules Regarding Equipment and Fixtures on the Premises:
①Not to use equipment and fixtures for purposes other than intended.
②Not to take equipment or fixtures from where they are.
③Not to remove equipment or fixtures from where they are.
(10)Please do not place any personal belongings in the lobby or passageways of the Hotel. (In some cases, the Hotel may keep your belongings or check these contents if you leave them unattended for many hours.)
(11)Please do not disturb the comfort of other guests by making noises, singing loudly or behaving in an offensive manner in the Facilities.
(12)Please do not place in or let hang from the windows items that may detract from the appearance of the Hotel.
(13)Minors are not permitted to stay at the Hotel without parental or guardian consent.
(14)The Hotel may refuse accommodations to persons who lack the capacity to reason due to mental impairment or temporary disturbance, or who are deemed to potentially affect the safety and comfort of other Guests in the Hotel.
(15)Regardless of whether intentionally or not, you will be charged for any damage or loss of the Hotel’s property caused by you or by your guests.
(16) Other acts the Hotel deems inappropriate.
5. Regarding Payment for Service
①Please pay your bill in prepayment.
②Please pay the other charges as soon as requested by the Hotel.
③Please contact the reception in advance if you plan to change the number of staying days. In the case of extension, please pay for the number of days of extension.
④Please note that we cannot respond to checks other than traveling checks or currency exchange.
